new hampshire

i'm back! i had an amazing holiday break- i visited my family in rhode island and took a little road trip to new hampshire with two of my bestest childhood friends. i missed my dogs (and matt!) so much and it feels good to be back home and get started on a new year! these photos are from a farm in new hampshire where we took a horse drawn sleigh ride through the snow.

the dogs were playing rough this morning and poor pee wee ended up with a little cut on her ear- she kept shaking her head and opening it up again (blood spraying everywhere) so we had to bandage it down onto her head. merry christmas...

new ring

we decided to get a new couch for christmas this year and not get any gifts for each other- but matt gave me this yesterday. i am not a big jewelry person (especially rings), but i love it so.

a few last minute special orders went out yesterday- i'm almost done with all the business stuff this year! i can't wait to focus a bit of time in the next few days on doing some family holiday fun around the house.

bazaar bizarre

i'm still recovering from the busy day at the fair yesterday- it was really successful! thanks to everyone who stopped by to visit us- it was great to meet you. i'll be posting some of the remaining goodies to the shop later today.

i made these little trees for an ornament swap i joined this holiday- i may have a few at the bazaar bizarre this saturday too!

we made my favorite holiday drink made with whiskey, lemon, honey, and cloves- perfect for warming up on a chilly day...

ornaments

i just finished up these felt stump ornaments for the fair next weekend- i will also add a few to the shop this morning! they are hand-silkscreened onto tan and cream wool felt, and then sewn together with a dark brown back and little loop for hanging. the cream "top" is a separate piece that i cut out and sewed onto the tan.

holiday workshop

make, make, make! i have a few things almost ready to go into the shop- but i will be saving a lot of goodies to sell at the san francisco bazaar bizarre on the 15th. if you are in the bay area please stop by and say hello! anything that is leftover will be put into the shop on saturday the 16th.
