our new post today on design*sponge was very fun to make. we traveled across the golden gate bridge to visit alethea's mum and auntie (who are both australian) for an afternoon of knitting, tea, and bickies.

we put in a few plants last fall and they are loving this weather. the double purple is amazing.

the studio is like a wood shop right now. it would have been nice to let our boards dry outside- but the rain just keeps coming down. at least the plants are getting a good drink.

i can't even believe how amazing this "old men" themed party on fine little day is. elisabeth writes "tomorrow is her twelfth birthday, and this is how she wanted to celebrate it with her friends. the theme was just that - old men. it was wild."
