studio choo went on a field trip today for a "dairy" photoshoot with flowers in vintage milk bottles. we used poppies and ranunculus grown just down the road in moss beach. a few more photos here, and more milk bottle photos to come.
That looks like so much fun! And what lovely weather you guys are having, yesterday was only our FIRST nice spring day. I hope there are lots more to come.
I've been trying to decide which flower(s) to add to my choice of ranunculus for my wedding bouquet and now I think I'm hooked on poppies as the perfect accompaniment. Except that poppies bloom in the spring, not in June, correct? Any suggestions for something wild and colorful to add to the ranunculus?
poppies are so amazing- but sadly are pretty delicate and don't hold up that well out of water. other alternatives might be anemones- they come in some really vivid colors these days or maybe some bright, open parrot tulips!
