we like it wild- daphne
our post this week is on the powerfully fragranced daphne flower. just one of the tiny flower clusters can fill a room with an amazing fruit loopy scent. it is one of our favorite plants/flowers and had beautiful foliage, but it can be difficult to grow and is poisonous when ingested so use caution with planting location. most daphne plant owners think its worth the trouble though.

Ooh Daphne has to be up there with my favourites! It smells so divine.
oh my goodness, i do believe that is my valentine arrangement in the mix! i love love love my flowers and am especially pleased w/ the daphne. it's simply scrumptious, mhmmm.

I love that flower- I found one blooming the other day in the neighborhood- incredible! (we are having an early spring up here in Seattle- the weather has been just too wierd!)
