i thought i had lost it! i'm so glad i didn't. while finishing my work room clean up i found this book of original work that one of my printmaking classes made together (taught by martin mazorra-one of my favorite teachers at parsons). everyone made an edition of 10 prints around the theme of god/religion and we assembled them into a book that everyone could keep. the prints shown below are cover page by martin mazorra, mochnesh by miki amano, absent shepherd by andrew kehoe, there must be something else by me, and the budda for broken things by ai miki.

i just got a copy of the beautiful and newly designed philadelphia home magazine in the mail today. i am super excited to have the forever cupcake featured (thanks caroline!) this is their special green issue and it looks so great- i can't wait to read through the rest of the articles. there's also a fresh batch of cupcakes almost ready for the shop- this might be the best one yet with extra thick and peaked "frosting".

i have been pretty run-down and sick after working a few very long days at rose and radish last week (the busiest time of year for most florists...valentine's day). i'm feeling back to normal today so we finally fixed our front window that has been broken forever. i am also in the process of photographing my new work area- so there should be some sneak peeks soon.

i am so excited- i just got the print i ordered from camilla. i saw it on her blog awhile ago and have been waiting for her to put it up for sale. i love it so much. she sent a sweet little drawing and a beautiful letterpress postcard printed by port to port along with it. this package makes up for the fact that it is going to rain all weekend.
